Planva shows NDVI for each field in the field card: the mean NDVI, the share of the area below 0.3 and below 0.5, and the share of the area with valid data.
The useful output is a place to inspect and a question to answer. An NDVI value alone cannot establish a disease, nutrient shortage or need for treatment. The agronomist confirms the cause on the field.
What to do with a reading
- Inspection. Create an inspection from a template with measurements, formulas, method steps and mandatory photos. Assign it to a person. It appears in their tasks and is closed with a report.
- Phytosanitary report. Record diseases, pests and weed infestation (grass or broadleaf, intensity, weed height), with inspection points and photos.
- Agroplan and machine task. If the finding needs work, plan it in an agroplan and issue a machine task. Plan versus actual stays on the same field.

Who should not buy
Do not buy Planva for NDVI alone. NDVI is one part of the field record. The platform is built around the field register, agroplans and machine tasks. If a separate imagery product is your main need, evaluate that first.
