Orchard management software: crews, harvest labels and weighing
Planva is orchard management software that follows the work from the morning shift plan to the weighing station.

The orchard is mapped as orchard, plot, block and row.
Crews get shift plans and work orders, a QR label stays with the fruit, and net weight is split across the workers of the crew that picked it.
Your data stays in-country or on your own servers.
Try this at the scale. Pick one container and ask where it came from: which block, which crew, which day. If someone has to go and find a paper tally, the system failed. If the label, the field mark and the scale all read the same record, it passed.

From the orchard down to the row
Structure
Orchard, plot, block and row. Rows are created by hand, generated with spacing and numbering, or imported from a file.
Row capacity
Trees, posts, length, width and area, from a start date.
Output units
Work is measured in trees, posts, metres or hectares, and progress by row follows from that.
Shift plans and work orders for crews
Shift plan
A crew plan for a date: block, type of work, planned volume, norm per worker and number of workers.
Work orders
Generated from the shift plan, with shift time, rows, crew and workers, and followed through to acceptance.
Badges and checkpoint
QR badges with photo and expiry date, a checkpoint log with refusals, and a crew timesheet of arrival and departure.
Output norms
A norm per worker per shift by block and type of work, filled into the work order automatically.

Harvest labels, containers and weighing
| Stage | What is recorded |
|---|---|
| Label | A QR label of 58×60 mm printed from the approved harvest line: owner, crew leader, variety, block, quality and date. |
| Container | Box, bin or pallet with a number, QR code, tare weight and capacity, plus its movement history. |
| Field mark | Which container with which label and work order was marked in the field. A wrong mark can be cancelled before weighing. |
| Weighing | Scanning the label fills in crew leader, block, variety and quality. Gross weight, truck number and destination are entered, and net weight is calculated. |
| Mismatches | A missing field scan or a different tare is flagged without blocking the weighing. |
| Sorting | Batches from the sorting line by calibre, colour, quality, weight and fruit count, linked to weighings. |
Why a crew missed the plan
Handwork analytics shows plan and actual by block, crew, type of work, crew leader and day. A miss splits into attendance and pace, so you can tell whether people did not turn up or the work went slower than planned. Those are two different conversations with a crew leader. Row progress and norm fulfilment per worker sit in the same place.
Deployment and pricing
You choose a cloud in your country by subscription, or your own servers with a perpetual licence. A pilot runs for 2 to 4 weeks on your orchard, and launch follows with training and support. Agronomists are on the support team, 24/7. Pricing depends on acreage, modules, deployment model and implementation scope, and is fixed in the proposal and contract.
Planva also runs field crops on a separate platform. Moving from another system is covered in how a move to Planva works.
Who should not buy
If you run one crew and a paper tally works, stay with it. Look elsewhere if you need payroll from the same system, a picker app on phones, or weights read straight off the scale.
Questions from orchard teams

Planva does. Shift plans and work orders go to crews, QR labels and containers follow the harvest, and the weighing station records net weight against the crew.
Yes. The QR label carries crew leader, variety, block, quality and date, and scanning it at the weighing station fills those fields in.
No. Planva distributes net weight across the workers of a crew and shows norm fulfilment. Pay stays in your payroll system.
No. Gross weight is typed in at the weighing station, and tare comes from the container, so net weight is calculated for you.
