What the platform holds
Planva holds the farm records needed for monitoring and field work. The data can include field boundaries, satellite imagery and indices, scouting notes and photos, machinery tracks and tasks.
Access and continuity
- Access. Agree who needs access to each set of farm records and confirm the permissions in the proposed deployment.
- Backups. Agree who makes backups, their frequency, retention and the process for testing a restore.
- Export. Confirm which records and attachments can be returned, in which formats and on what schedule.
Agree the setup before onboarding
Data placement is a customer choice, not a default hidden in setup. The farm and Planva agree the deployment before field history or operating records move into the platform.
